The Software Package
Two software applications are part of the Heatmon system. First is the control application that will run the control heat treatment programs for all the furnaces under its control. Also will monitor and record the process diagram over time. This application comminicate with the furnace controllers through a simple 2 wires RS485 serial connection, most temperature controllers support as standard the Modbus RTU protocol.
The second application is used mainly to create and edit the heat treatment programs for the desired processes. In addition it allow to view the saved processes diagrams, print heat treatment reports and also remote monitoring of heat treatments carried by remotely located control applications. Remote monitoring work over the local network or over the internet.
Installation
The HeatMon system can be installed at the client site. This include computers, software installation, serial connection cables, furnace controller configuration, and modifications to the electric cabinet. See FAQ for more information.
Some temperature controllers may not be compatible with this software, in this case a replacement is necessary, and in some cases modifications to the electric cabinet.
